Bootz To Heelz was born from one of the most difficult seasons of founder Dr. Sandra Hardy's life.
In 2003, while serving on active duty in the United States military, Dr. Hardy received a phone call that would forever change the course of her life. Her mother had suffered a massive stroke. As an only child and her mother's primary caregiver, she made the difficult decision to leave her active-duty military career to care for her family.
The transition was far more than a career change. It brought financial uncertainty, emotional hardship, and a deep loss of identity and purpose. Like many individuals facing unexpected life transitions, Dr. Hardy experienced firsthand what it felt like to lose stability and wonder what came next.
But through that experience, she discovered something that would shape her life's work.
Leadership isn't simply about leading others.
It begins by leading yourself through adversity.
As she rebuilt her life through entrepreneurship, Dr. Hardy realized that the same leadership principles she had learned in the military—discipline, resilience, trust, accountability, communication, and mission-focused execution—were equally powerful in business and organizational leadership.
Bootz To Heelz became more than a business.
It became a mission to help leaders discover their potential, strengthen their organizations, and create lasting impact in their communities.

Dr. SANDRA HARDY, Leadership Strategist & Workplace Development Strategist
Dr. Sandra Hardy, D.P.S., MBA, is the Founder and CEO of Bootz To Heelz, a leadership and workplace development firm specializing in leadership development, workplace development, organizational effectiveness, executive coaching, strategic planning, and growth strategies. She is a Certified Executive Leadership Coach, Certified Emotional Intelligence Life Coach, Certified Transitional Life Coach, author, speaker, trainer, Executive Producer and Host of the Leaders Empowerment Network TV Channel, a retired disabled United States military veteran, and the recipient of an Honorary Doctorate of Public Service (D.P.S.) in recognition of her distinguished leadership, service, and commitment to developing others.
Drawing on decades of leadership experience in both the military and corporate sectors—including serving as a Director of Operations—Dr. Hardy has built a career developing leaders, strengthening workplaces, improving operations, and helping organizations achieve sustainable performance and growth. Throughout her career, she has led, trained, mentored, and developed individuals while designing systems that strengthened operational excellence, workplace effectiveness, and organizational performance.
Her diverse leadership experience across the military, corporate, and nonprofit sectors shaped a leadership philosophy rooted in trust, accountability, communication, and developing people to achieve extraordinary results. Known for her practical, relationship-centered approach to leadership, Dr. Hardy combines strategic insight with real-world experience to help leaders navigate change, strengthen teams, improve workplace performance, and achieve measurable results. These principles continue to guide every Bootz To Heelz engagement.
Dr. Hardy holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management and has dedicated her career to helping organizations and institutions develop stronger leaders, build high-performing teams, improve workplace effectiveness, and create sustainable organizational growth.
She is the creator of the L.E.A.D. Leadership & Workplace Development System™, Bootz To Heelz's proprietary methodology for developing leaders and strengthening organizational performance. At the heart of the system is the L.E.A.D. leadership philosophy—Listen, Empower, Aspire, Develop—which equips leaders to build trust, inspire growth, strengthen workplace culture, and create organizations where people and performance thrive.
